The NH Community
Federal Credit Union was organized in 1959, originally for employees
of Joy Manufacturing. A change of its charter now allows all who
live or work in Sullivan County to join NHCFCU.
The purpose of the credit union is to promote thrift among its
members and to create a source of credit for provident and
productive purposes. It is a non-profit, membership owned financial
institution.
You, as a member, have one vote at the annual meeting in electing
the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors meet monthly to
direct the activities of the credit union. The Board sets the rates
for savings accounts and loans. The Board also makes by-law and
policy changes as necessary and as allowed by Federal Credit Union
Law. As a member you are eligible to be elected to the Board of
Directors. |
